Paula L. McGee is a dynamic preacher and a highly
regarded lecturer and inspirational speaker.
Her personal mission and vision is to help others to
discover their calling, and find personal peace
and self-fulfillment by accepting their greatness.
She is a life coach and inspires and motivates people of
all ages to be their very
best.
She
is a native of Flint, Michigan, where she and her
twin sister Pam won two high school state championships
in basketball at Northern High School. Highly recruited,
she and her sister Pam chose the University of Southern
California for their college career. At USC, the
McGee Twins teamed up with Cheryl Miller to win
two back-to-back National Championships in 1983
and 1984. After college Paula embarked upon a professional
career.
Her
professional career included a tryout with the Harlem
Globetrotters and a season with the Dallas Diamonds
of the Women's American Basketball Association.
She also played five seasons in Italy and Spain,
where she learned both Spanish and Italian. In her
final seasons she negotiated her own contracts.
Paula
L. McGee ended her basketball career to pursue her
life's calling to preach. She earned a Master's of
Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia and a Master's of Arts
in Religion from Vanderbilt University. She is
currently pursuing a Ph.D. in
Women's Studies in Religion at Claremont Graduate
University in Claremont, California.
Reverend
Paula L. McGee is a pioneer and a trail blazer.
Her achievements include: starting a sports management
agency where she represented her twin sister in
the WNBA. She was also the co-founder of Christian
Business Success Network, a nonprofit organization
that specializes in training and providing support
for Christian business leaders. She is an ordained
minister and the former Dean of Chapel at historic
Fisk University.
Active
in her community, Reverend McGee uses her many gifts,
talents, and winning spirit to make a difference
in the world.
