Would
you like to join the many men and women in our history books?
Do you want to leave your mark on the world? Do you want
to reach your full potential? Do you want to achieve greatness?
Many of us think that greatness is inaccessible. We think
that in order to achieve it, we must sacrifice, suffer,
and work extremely hard. The first step to greatness, however,
is not the sacrifice and suffering; the first step is the
acceptance of your greatness.
Greatness is often defined as a list of accomplishments,
fame and fortune, celebrity or wealth. These are neither
the requirements nor the measurements of greatness. I am
defining greatness as that quality--that energy--the God-space--where
all that is good, healing, creative, holy, and divine resides.
You can't define greatness with simple words because it
is always dynamic and shows up in different ways. However,
you know it when you see it. They could see it in Jesus
of Nazareth, long before he did any miracles. Their response
was Emmanuel, which means "God is with us."
Greatness is encoded on your spiritual DNA. When it finds
safe space, it screams through your gifts and talents-"God
is with us." You can always see it in powerful people,
because greatness is undeniable. It is revealed in those
who are brave enough to honor their true selves without
apology. They live fully in the world, and as a result,
they make the world a better place. This quality--this God-space,
is in each of us. Accepting your greatness is the process
of discovering it--revealing it--living it--tapping into
it and exploiting it. Maximizing all of your talents and
gifts, so that at the time of your transition and when you
to leave the planet, you will have no regrets. You will
have given all that you have to fulfill your divine purpose
and help heal the world.
